About us… Passford House is a fifty bedroom country house hotel located on the edge of the New Forest between Lymington and Sway. The hotel’s Terrace Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and a la carte dinner and the hotel also offers casual dining or afternoon tea throughout the day. Privately owned, the team at Passford has built a reputation for providing high levels of service and delivering memorable experiences that have our guests returning time and time again. We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Front of House Manager to join our amazing team.
About the role… You will support the Restaurant Manager & General Manager, as well as the wider team to deliver the guest experience that Passford House is known for. The hotel operates in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere for diners in the restaurant, function rooms, lounges and garden. Day to day responsibilities include:
-Polite and professional food and beverage service
-Food and beverage service in the restaurant, bar, lounges, garden and function rooms.
-Welcome and host guests that are dining at the hotel and create memorable experiences
-Full training provided with career progression opportunities available

-A friendly and welcoming demeanour
-Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
-Highly organised with a customer service focus
-The drive to exceed guest expectations and go the extra mile
-Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a full-time role and includes weekend and evening shifts as required by the business. Working 5 days out of 7, dependent on business needs. Flexibility works both ways as Passford House believes in promoting a work life balance.
Salary: £23,000 depending on experience
